You don't know "The Impression" - well, out of more than 500 Bands, Westernhagen picked his ten favorites, for an online voting to support him on his "Hottentottenmusik"-Tour. And they made it. In spring, we started producing their new EP "Night Forms The Morning", which got a lot of attention and airplay. So, check them out - you'll love them.

22-08-2012 :: Alanis Morissette - Havoc And Bright Lights (Limited Premium Edition)

I had the honor to make editings to a live-recording from Alanis Morissette, which is used on CD and DVD in the Limited Premium Edition of her new longplayer, which went straight to the top ten in germany and other countries. Go get it - the single "guardian" is still one of my favorite songs released this year.

I got it from a german tv-station. It's really in excelent condition and is very unique, because of it's custom yellow cover. On a small island, where I only have the chance to carry one piece of equipment in my lugagge, this would be my choice of course. And because the Dorian Gray Studios own two stereo units, you can hear my favorite vocal compressor on literally any production I've made.

Just produced two tracks for the indie-band "The Impression". We found a great way of combining live flair with producing elements and come up with realy nice pop tunes. I for one think, we've made some clever arrangements far from standard, but catchy enough to attract attention. There are some minor edits to do and than we start mixing.

Just got some of the fist pieces of the new workbook "Drum Training Groove" with CD & DVD. I produced the songs for my fellow Martin Klee, who's the author (and drummer of course). It's released through Hage Verlag - so watch the Trailer!

29-02-2012 :: Switchfoot Alternative Version

Just finished remixing Switchfoot's Song "Afterlife". I thought this track needed more of an alternative rock feeling in it. What startet as an "in the box sound test" ended up as a full mix on the ssl (and you can hear and feel the difference for shure). So have a listen right here.

21-01-2012 :: Educational Drum DVD

I produced a couple of songs for a Drum DVD with workbook and CD. Mixing's just finished at Dorian Gray Studio 1 - it'll be released at Musikmesse Germany this year. Next week, Gerhard will mix one of the tracks in surround, which will be used for promotional purposes.

Just finished a Remix for Queen's "Don't Stop Me Now" with a little beatlesque flavour in it - some Mellotrons, Reverse Tapeloops, Monodrums and stuff like this, but without touching the intension of the Original.

16-12-2011 :: Antoine Montana feat. Mario Winans

Had a great recording session with vocalist Mario Winans (P.Diddy, Enya, Mary J. Blidge, The Notorious B.I.G., Beyonce, R.Kelly, Jennifer Lopez, Whitney Houston) and Producer Antoine Montana (US5, No Angels) at Dorian Gray Studios Regie 2. Nice Tune - release to be confirmed.
